How to receive your 5000 naira monthly stipend promised by APC in Nigeria



The Nigerian Government has finally approved the monthly payment of 5000 naira to umemployed Nigerians. This was released in a statement by the new Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, while addressing newsmen after the swearing in ceremony at the presidential villa on Wednesday.

The APC had promised to pay the monthly stipend if they are voted to power during the last presidential election which brought the Government of President Mohammadu Buari.

For the past weeks it has been one of the most popular debates around nigeria, with some groups calling on the Federal Government to redeem her pledge. The debates became intense when some APC senetors rejected the motion to compel the Federal Government to commence the payments.

The following guidelines were released to newsmen for selecting the benefactors of this monthly stipend:
To qualify for the application which will be received from the 23rd of October, 2015 at the local government secretariats of the federation, you will provide answers to the following questions:

  1. Do you currently eat three times a day?
  2. Do you currently have a roof over your head?
  3. Can you currently afford portable water to drink?
  4. Are you single or married, and how many children do you have?
  5. Are your children currently in school?
  6. When was the last time you had a bottle of beer?
  7. If you are single male, can you currently afford a girlfriend?
  8. Have you made friends with the helpers of all the local restaurants around you?
  9. When you go to a restaurant to eat, do you tell them what you want or you declare how much you have and let them choose what you can afford to eat?
  10. Do you currently consider stealing as a viable hobby?
  11. If given a machine gun, would you consider robbery as an occupation?
  12. Do you think bicycle is a good means of transportation?
  13. etc
